Morning pick-up between 06:00 and 08:00am anywhere within 10km from Cape Town City Centre. Travel distance about 450km - excluding game drives.
Enjoy a game drive and spot some of Africa’s wild animals from the back of an open 4x4 vehicle in a malaria-free private game reserve. Search for giraffe, white rhino, kudu, lion, elephant, zebra and wildebeest, to name a few. The game drive is led by an experienced game ranger, sharing his knowledge of the local wildlife as well as other antelope species, birdlife and insects. If safety and weather permits, you may also get time also hop off the vehicle during the safari drive to see the Garden Route's fauna and flora on foot with a quick ± 5 min tranquil bush walk with the ranger as he tracks smaller wildlife and insects.
Journey through the landscape of rugged plains and towering cliffs to reach Oudtshoorn in the semi-desert Klein Karoo.
Overnight in Oudtshoorn (as per your price option selection) at either Uthundo Backpackers, 3-star Comfort 88 Baron Guesthouse or 4-star Deluxe Buffelsdrift Luxury Lodge or similar

Hop on an open-top 4x4 bush drive viewing vehicle for a guided Klein Karoo Bush Safari in search of wildlife such as; buffalo, giraffe, rhino, springbok, wildebeest and more, with the dramatic Swartberg Mountains as the backdrop. This 4x4 drive focus on the smaller animals, insects and indigenous plants.
Get up early for an optional Elephant Observation in Nature experience (at optional extra expense). Observe 3 rescued elephants in a natural setting to learn more about these gentle giants. See them go about their day from a safe distance and have enough time to take photos of them in nature while they roam freely, feeding on vegitation or maybe even playing in the mud.
Travel back via the scenic Route 62 – South Africa's famous scenic country road, capturing the beauty of mountains, twisting passes, vineyards and orchards to reach Cape Town by late evening.
